Jeff Adams

My name is Jeff Adams and I have been involved with theatre for most of my life. I have only been in two Blue Canoe Productions, however both of those experiences have been unforgettable. Being a part of the Advisory Board would allow me the opportunity to become even closer to the company that I have loved working with during the past two years. I would love to bring my many years of leadership and theatrical experience, both secondary and post-secondary, to Blue Canoe Productions. I have a true passion for theatre and I’m always looking to be more involved with Kingston theatre. The Advisory Board for Blue Canoe Productions, an amazing Kingston theatre company, will give me this opportunity.

Shelby Arnold

I would like to be a member of Blue Canoe’s board because my involvement with Blue Canoe over the past three years has been a great learning experience for me and I think I can continue to give back to the company in important ways. Blue Canoe has given me the experience to work in positions on productions I never would have considered myself good at, and I would love to be a member of Blue Canoe Theatrical Production inc.’s first board in order to help make Blue Canoe the best it can be for the next year, both on campus and in the Kingston and surrounding communities, along with my fellow board mates.

Jacob Atkinson

My name is Jacob Atkinson. I’m currently a 2nd year Drama student at Queen’s. I’ve been involved with Blue Canoe ever since arriving in Kingston, acting in Sweet Charity and Cabaret, leading viral marketing campaigns for
Dr Horrible and Cabaret, as well as filming and editing together the performances of Dr Horrible. I feel I can
bring a number of unique skills to the board, in particular my experience in film. As someone who’s been heavily involved in Blue Canoe for the past 2 years,  I would be honored to be a member of the board.

Caitlin Barton

I am interested in being a part of the Blue Canoe advisory board so that I may contribute to the future of the company. As a recent graduate of the Queen's Bachelor of Music program, I can bring a great deal of musical knowledge and experience to the company. I am currently a Queen's teacher candidate and I have a lot of practice as a teacher, music director and coach. Within the past year, I have participated as an orchestra member for Cabaret, and as the musical director for 13. My interest in musical theatre and leadership in music communities make me a good candidate for the position and I hope to help Blue Canoe in their future seasons.

Josh Blackstock

Blue Canoe Productions has given me countless opportunities to grow as an actor and as a person. If voted onto the Advisory Board I would use my position to ensure that young performers after me have the same positive experience that I did. Most of my fondest memories are with Blue Canoe and this position would allow me to create more. My apologies for my absence, see you at  Tir on Thursday?

Carin Ann Crabtree

Hey there! I have worked with BCP since its very first musical in a myriad of capacities, so its success means a lot to me. I feel like I have watched it grow up and I want to be there as it continues to make the next steps. I am a Kingstonian born and raised, and have spent many years involved with the Kingston theatre community, so I have its best interests at heart. Plus, my theatre education outside of Queen’s and my experiences outside of the city and the province mean I am able to offer diverse views and ideas. I have taken several courses on theatre administration and management, and I am objective, rational, and diplomatic. Pick me pick me pick me!

Sue Del-Mei

As a founding member of Blue Canoe Productions, this company has a special place in my heart. It is because of this company that I have any of the experience in theatre that I do. I have been very fortunate to have both performed and choreographed for many shows both with Blue Canoe and with other local and Queen's production companies. These opportunities came about because, at a rather young age, I was able to learn how to put up a production and everything that goes along with that task. As a member of the Board in the past I took pride in seeing the experience Blue Canoe was able to offer young theatre artists, and in watching the amazing work Blue Canoe alum have produced since working with us. To have the opportunity to continue providing the same experience I had to new young artists is one I would not pass up. I would not be graduating with a Drama Degree if I hadn't started working with this company!

Karli Feldman

Blue Canoe has provided all of us with some wonderful opportunities to work, play, and learn in the world of theatre. For me, this has meant being very active in the last two seasons, in many areas. I have had amazing experiences, met some of my closest friends, made fun of Mike a lot, and learned incredible amounts. I can’t help change Mike’s hairstyle, but I can help keep our company successful. I would be honoured to serve on the Board, as I believe we have a bright future ahead of us and would love to help us get there.

Joey Graff

My name is Joey Graff and I am a third year Queens Drama student and an alumni of Blue Canoe. The opportunities which the company gives to the Kingston community has been what has kept my interest in Blue Canoe and brings me to apply for the board. A diverse background in the theatre and years of work in professional team settings constitute the experience that I would bring into the board. I look forward to bringing my creative spirit, enthusiasm, and critical eye into the company as it comes into this important transition. Thank you for your consideration.

Jessica Harding

Wow. It’s hard to believe that I’m writing a statement on why I should be a part of the Advisory Board of the company that gave me my very first vocal directing opportunity. It’s been 5 years now and I believe I would be able to help keep Blue Canoe strong and help it to continuously grow in all of its future endeavors. I am so thankful for the opportunities and experiences which Blue Canoe has granted me, both onstage and off. It would give me great pleasure if I could be part of building such opportunities for other youth.

Eddie Larocque

My name is Eddie and I am graduating from Queen's this year with a Bachelor of Music.  I have been extremely involved in theatre throughout my time here: I played the title role in Candide last year put on by the Queen's Drama Department, with QMT I vocal directed The Mikado and was in Jekyll & Hyde and HAIR, I was a producer for Vogt Studio Series 09/10, I am vocal directing a Players Show this year, and I was involved with Existere both as a Director and cast member.  With Blue Canoe I played John in John & Jen and played piano in the band for Tick Tick Boom.  I have a wealth of experience to offer and would love to continue to be involved with Blue Canoe and help create good theatre.

Marta McDonald

Hello Fellow Blue Canoodlers! First off, thank you in advance for your consideration. Let's see – I’ve been involved with Blue Canoe Productions since birth...well… it's birth. Although I started off small (lending curtains and buying a t-shirt), I have grown to consider myself well versed in all things Blue Canoe. Having worked in some way on 14 shows and/or events, Blue Canoe has provided me with a lot of wonderful experiences. Moving forward as a member of the advisory board, I plan to aid in the shaping of terrific experiences for the future of the company. Peace and Jazz Squares.

Jonathan Michaels

I'm the guy in the middle. Through my involvement in over 7 productions, Blue Canoe has shaped my university and community experience. Now that I have left Kingston, I want to ensure that the opportunities I was given will be available in the future. Two years ago I eagerly presented to Blue Canoe the idea of bringing Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog to the stage, knowing they would be completely dedicated to making it professional and fun for everyone involved. As an Advisory Board member I would endeavour to keep this a company that encourages new ideas and passion from its members.
