Kevin Tanner

About Kevin...

Kevin holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Drama from Queen's University. He began designing with Blue Canoe Productions in 2010, and has since gone on to design lighting, sets, and most recently projection. In the summer of 2011, he participated in a projection design work-study at the Banff Centre in Alberta. This experience allowed him the opportunity to work in high-end opera production. He will be taking on his first professional design project in April 2013, lighting for H'art Studio in The Regina Rosen Auditorium.

Kevin has directed several productions, including Blue Canoe Productions' Glengarry Glen Ross, and Queen's Musical Theatre's Spring Awakening. He also works extensively in technical direction, having overseen Candide and Penelope Waits for the Queen's Drama Department. In the summer season, he works as the Assistant Technical Director at the Thousand Islands Playhouse. Kevin is currently looking into graduate studies programs in design and directing.
